Heidi Health is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050. We acknowledge the importance of aligning our operations with global efforts to mitigate climate change and will strive to continuously improve our environmental performance.

Baseline Emissions Footprint
Heidi Health, as a company focusing on digital, cloud-based services, was only established in the UK in early 2024. Due to the recency of our establishment and the nature of our business, we have not previously assessed or reported emissions. This year, 2024, will serve as our Baseline Year, marking the beginning of our journey towards understanding and managing our environmental impact.

‍Given our operational model, our direct emissions (Scope 1) are negligible as we do not own or operate any vehicles or production facilities. For Scope 2 emissions, they are minimal and primarily consist of indirect emissions from electricity used by our employees who work remotely. These are partially mitigated through the encouragement of renewable energy use among our staff.

For Scope 3 emissions, included sources such as emissions from upstream activities like server hosting and software development are managed through partnerships with providers who prioritize sustainability. We also have minimal downstream emissions due to our business model.

In our first year, we have focused on selecting sustainable service providers and promoting remote work, reducing the need for commuting and business travel, thereby minimizing our environmental impact from the outset.

In the future we hope to implement further measures such as:

- Enhancing the energy efficiency of our cloud infrastructure.
- Exploring reputable carbon offset projects to complement our direct emissions reduction efforts.

‍Declaration and Sign Off

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.

Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard[1]and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting[2].

Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard[3].

This plan has been reviewed and approved by the board of directors in October 2024. The plan will be reviewed and updated annually, to reflect any significant changes in our operations or emissions.
