Check if Your Practice is Connected or Add Additional Users
1. If you've navigated to the Marketplace and it shows Heidi is already connected (e.g. instead of "Add to Gentu" it says "Remove from Gentu", ask your colleague/Practice Manager for the Tenant ID.
They can access this by navigating to Settings > EMR Integrations > Gentu > Manage Integrations (on the top right corner of the screen).

3. Afterwards enter your first and last name as per your Gentu account and connect to the integration
How to configure Letter Templates
1. Navigate to Settings within Gentu and select
2. From there, under the Templates section, select Letter Templates
3. Select the Letter Template you'd like to use within Heidi, for our example, we'll be using the Test Letter Template
4. Click on the Pencil on the menu bar on the right hand side of your screen to edit the template
5. Once you're within the letter template, simply navigate your cursor to where you would like the body of the letter to be inserted
6. From the top menu bar, select Reference (the leftmost icon)
7. From here, select the Dictation option, and then the 'Voice dictation text' option
8. Now your letter template should have highlighted text with the term 'dictation.text' where you would like the body of your letter to be situated. You can cut and paste this text to where you would like the contents of your letter to be displayed within the template.
9. Hit Save (on the bottom right hand corner of your screen) and navigate back to Heidi.
How to push a Consult Note or a Letter into Gentu
If you want to use your existing Gentu templates in Heidi, you’ll need to configure them first.
1. After successfully connecting to the integration, go to View Sessions
2. Click Schedule and click the Calendar icon above to select a date with an appointment
3. Select a scheduled appointment. This will create a new session in Heidi. All appointments brought in from Gentu will be presented with an icon next to it.
4. Perform your consultation as normal. Afterwards, select the arrow next to the 'Push to Gentu' button.
If you've generated a Consultation Note, simply click 'Push entire note' and your note will be available in Gentu. Please note that you can only send Consultation Notes to Gentu from the 'Note' tab within Heidi.
If you've generated the letter on the 'Note' tab within Heidi, click on the arrow on the Push to Gentu button and select 'Push letter'.
Alternatively, if you've generated the letter in a separate tab (other than the Note tab), simply click Push to Gentu.
