Overview
Heidi’s integration with MediOffice lets you record patient consultations in real time and instantly generate AI-powered clinical notes in multiple formats. Notes can be pushed directly into the consultation using the Dictation field, streamlining documentation and improving consistency.
What This Integration Does
With Heidi's integration into MediOffice, you can:
Lets you launch Heidi from within any patient appointment
Records the consultation in real time
Generates clinical notes using AI, based on your conversation
Allows you to choose from multiple note formats (e.g. SOAP, referral, summary)
Inserts the completed note directly into the consultation via the Dictation input field
Helps reduce time spent on documentation and ensures consistent, high-quality notes
How to Get Started
1. Enable Heidi in your account settings
2. From the Diary, open an appointment, the Heidi widget will appear in the bottom right corner of your screen
3. (Optional) Click Context and enter any information about the patient you want Heidi to incorporate in your notes. (e.g. the patient's age reason why they are seeing you, health or medication history, etc.)
4. When ready, click Start visit to begin recording the session.
5. To stop the session, hover your mouse over the timestamp and click End Session.
6. In the list that appears, select the template format you want as the output for this clinical note.
7. Click Note to view the generated output by Heidi. If you want to change the format, click the magic wand icon and select another template from the list. You can change format as many times as you need.
8. When you want to finalise your clinical note, click Push Note.
9. Your note will automatically appear in the Dictation input in your visit

The Medi Office integration has been designed to be seamless, intuitive, and flexible for your everyday use. Here’s what you can expect:
Multiple Note Formats: Select the note structure that best suits your workflow — including SOAP, summaries, or referrals. You can switch formats at any time before finalising.
Live Transcription: View a real-time transcript of your consultation by clicking Transcript within the widget.
Push to Consult: With one click, insert your completed note directly into the visit record in MediOffice.
Smart Session Handling: When you open the widget, we automatically resume the last session for the same patient on the same day. Need to start fresh? Click the cogwheel icon, then select New session.
Flexible Customisation: Create your own note templates by logging in to your Heidi account via our desktop or mobile apps.
Auto-Start for New Days: If you return to the patient on a different day, a new session starts automatically.
