Nookal

Heidi integrates seamlessly with Nookal, letting you push AI-generated clinical notes directly into your client’s file with one click.

⚠️ The Nookal Integration only works within Australia. You will need access to our Together Tier to get started (30 day free trial available)

How To Setup

  1. Open up Nookal, and look for the Setup icon on the top menu bar

  2. On the left hand side of your screen, click on Connections and underneath it Integrations

  3. Look for Heidi Health and enable the toggle next to it

  4. In order to setup the Nookal Integration, you must generate an API key

  5. Under 'Connections' you will find a section called 'API Keys'

  6. Navigate there and click on Generate API key on the bottom right hand corner of your screen

7. Once you've generated the API key, click to enable the toggle for

  • Location

  • All Additional Options (Clinical Notes, Invoices, Documents, Logos & Staff Photos)

8. Save the changes from the bottom right corner of your screen

9. Copy the API key you have just generated and navigate to Heidi -> Integrations -> Nookal

10. Paste your API key in the API key section and enter your first and last name as shown on Nookal

11. If you're not sure about your first and last name on Nookal, you can find it on the top right hand corner of your screen

12. Alternatively, you can navigate to Nookal -> Users -> Staff on the left hand side menu bar and find your exact credentials

13. On Heidi, you can now click on find user, and it will allow you to connect your integration

14. Once the connection is successful you should see the following screen, please feel free to reach out to our support

How To Use the Nookal Integration

Please note we currently only support pushing a clinical note to Nookal and not letters. We will be providing this functionality in the near future.

  1. For the integration to work correctly, patients must be entered via the Diary section in Nookal.

2. Navigating back to Heidi the patient will be pulled in automatically

3. To load patients from a different date, click the Calendar icon to select your desired date. Patients for that day will then be imported automatically.

4. Once you've selected your patient, do your consultation as normal

5. On the right side of your note a 'Push to Nookal' button will appear

6. Once pressed, a pop up will let you know that your note was pushed successfully

7. Navigate to the Clinical Notes of your patient and the note will automatically be generated as a pdf under 'History'.
