Create Documents from Tasks, Bulk Upload Appointments and New Billing Codes
We've been busy building features that connect and orchestrate your entire workflow, so you can focus less on admin and more on what matters.
This month brings automatic document generation from Tasks, 100+ community Form templates, bulk patient schedule uploads, updated medical codes, and new EHR integrations to streamline your day even further. Read on to see how Heidi can save you hours in your week.
Auto-generate Documents from Tasks

Heidi's Tasks feature now includes Automatic Document Generation — turning action items into completed documents with one click. After capturing what needs to be done post-consult, each task can instantly generate the right document for you, from referral letters to patient explainers or handover documents. Move seamlessly from to-do to done with a single click.

Upload Patient Schedules

Save 10-20 minutes daily by uploading your patient schedule as a CSV or screenshot to create ready-to-go session drafts. Simply click "Upcoming," upload your schedule, and select sessions to start — no manual entry required. Plan ahead seamlessly alongside your EHR for smoother, more predictable workflows.
New Medical Codes

Heidi automatically suggests ICD-10-CM and CPT codes drawn directly from your documentation, ranked by relevance and flagged for review. Capture accurate billing codes as you document — reducing errors, speeding up workflows, and ensuring revenue opportunities aren't missed. Support compliance and complete funding capture across all your encounters.
Only available for US customers. Read more on Medical Coding to see what’s available in your region.
Telehealth on Heidi Web

Record and document telehealth consultations directly in your web browser alongside Heidi. Available now on Microsoft Edge and Chrome, simply start a session, select "Start Telehealth," and capture high-quality, uninterrupted audio while conducting your telehealth visit — all in one streamlined workspace without switching between tabs or platforms.
New Integrations
eClinicalWorks Integration via Vim

Heidi now integrates with eClinicalWorks EMR through Vim middleware, enabling seamless clinical documentation directly within your EHR. The Heidi widget appears as a floating toolbar in eCW, allowing you to generate AI-powered clinical notes that sync directly back to patient records in real time. Eliminate manual note-taking and reduce documentation burden in ambulatory care settings.
Note: To access the eCW—Heidi integration, you must install Vim on your workstation first.
