Busy month for April at Heidi, and a big one boosting productivity across clinical teams. Heidi made it easier to collaborate, share, and stay in flow. Session sharing is now live, letting you send individual sessions directly to colleagues or external recipients with flexible access controls and built-in governance for enterprise teams.
Heidi also extends to Epic Haiku, bringing ambient documentation to mobile for clinicians on ward rounds and between visits. Read on for the full rundown.
Every note edit is now tracked with Version Control.

Every edit to a note is now tracked by user, so you can see exactly what changed, who made the change, and roll back to an earlier version with a single click. Useful for peer review, team sessions, and any time a note needs to be compared across versions. Learn more.
Edit your Forms directly in your session, without leaving Heidi.

When Heidi generates a form from your session, you can now fill it in and make edits directly within the session tab. The completed form stays right where your transcript and notes live, ready to review, adjust, and export in one step. To use it, generate a form from any session and look for the interactive editing view in your session tab. Live on web now, with best experienced on Chrome or Edge. Learn more.
Share individual sessions with your team or external recipients.
When a patient's care crosses multiple clinicians, Heidi shouldn't be the reason the handoff breaks down.

You can now share sessions in two flexible ways: Send directly to a colleague in your organisation and choose their access level (View, Edit, or Full access), with notifications via email and in-app, or share via a secure link to external recipients without a Heidi account, they can view after one-time-password verification. This makes it easy to securely share session documentation without copy-pasting notes or forwarding PDFs, using the Share button at the top of any session. Users can also share their Evidence session chats with team members.
Team admins can enable or disable direct session sharing organisation-wide from Team Settings, for practices that need governance over what's shared internally.
Global admins can now enforce session sharing policy across the whole organisation.

Global admins can now set an org-wide session sharing policy from Organisation Settings under Collaboration. Three options are available: Unset (each team manages its own setting), Enabled (session sharing on for selected roles across all teams), or Disabled (session sharing off for all teams). Built for enterprise customers who need consistent, compliant session sharing policies across their whole organisation. Available to global admins on Enterprise plans. Learn more.
Template editor tables

The template editor now supports structured tables within note templates. Clinician’s have total flexibility and adaptability with how data is structured in their notes, reducing post-session editing and aligning with current workflows. Learn more.
Heidi x Epic: new Haiku integration live on mobile

Following the successful launch of our Epic Hyperspace integration in 2025, Heidi now extends to Epic Haiku, bringing the same ambient documentation, structured writeback, and clinical workflow support to mobile. Clinicians on ward rounds, between visits, or away from their desktop can now capture and file notes directly within Epic from their phone. Live with health systems across the US, UK, and Australia. Quality of life improvements
- New Forms template editor transform static PDFs into dynamic documents: instead of sending forms into Heidi to configure for them, users can do it themselves. This new experience supports additional field types and provides an intuitive flow that takes users from uploading a non-editable form to a fully transcribed, filled-in version in minutes. Learn more.
- Upload complex documents to Context without a checkbox: Scanned PDFs, tables, and handwritten notes can now be uploaded directly into Context without needing to tick a checkbox first. Less friction when adding clinical context before generating a note.
- Skip template selection entirely with Auto Mode. Auto mode automatically generates a note that fits your session. No template selection required. Ideal for new users getting started, or clinicians who see a wide range of visit types and want Heidi to adapt on the fly. Live on web.
- Smarter template search lets you find the right template faster: Template search is now smarter, with sorting by author and improved relevance, making it easier to find your own templates versus team templates in larger libraries.
- Template creators can now share templates with users outside their organisation. Recipients are prompted to sign up to import the template into their account. Perfect for clinician’s and teams working across multiple sites.
- Queue multiple templates to generate from a single session, or set them to run automatically for every session. Useful for clinicians who routinely need a consult note plus a referral letter, or any workflow involving multiple documents from one visit.
- **Evidence conversations can now be shared with colleagues:** Evidence conversations can now be shared with colleagues, with a disclaimer displayed on shared views. Enables clinical teams to reference and pass on AI-supported clinical discussions.
