Heidi now adapts to your writing over time, tracking your edits and automatically applying your preferred terminology, formatting, and style, so every note sounds more like you. Maintain complete visibility and control over which edits are captured and applied. No patient data is stored - only your editing preferences are saved within our existing privacy framework.

A simpler way to create templates

Our new chat-based template builder lets you describe what you need in plain language, upload your best documentation examples for automatic template generation, and see exactly what your notes will look like before you use them. With live previews, version control, and zero technical complexity, creating the perfect template is now as simple as having a conversation.

New template creation is being rolled out over Aug - Sept 2025, and will appear on your account soon.

Expanding our medical codes

August 2025 updates

AI-powered medical coding has expanded to include ICD-10-UK (UK) and ICD-10-AM (Australia). Heidi surfaces billable codes after each session for you to review and confirm insertion into your documents with one click. Evidence-based code suggestions are ranked by relevance, helping you reduce errors, standardise reporting, and identify previously missed revenue opportunities. Coding will continue to expand over the next 6 months to cover even more regions.

ICD-10-UK and ICD-10-AM code access will only be available through an opt-in pilot program for eligible hospitals in the UK and Australia. Read more about the pilot process.

Heidi now integrates with Gentu practice management software, allowing you to record sessions, generate AI notes, and push documentation directly into patient files in real time. Under-the-hood improvements:

  • Paste images and screenshots directly to Context tab to quickly reference patient history, lab results, and previous notes during sessions. Simply screenshot relevant information from your EHR or computer files and add it to Heidi to consolidate information into your session.
  • We’ve revamped our selection of Templates tailored to your speciality, with over 1000 new templates created and accessible in your library. From General Practice to Music Therapy, every clinician gets higher quality, more relevant templates.💡 Tip: Use these as a starting point and customise with our new chat builder!
  • ‍Tasks left incomplete are now archived after one month to keep your workspace clean. Tasks is also now available in multilingual mode - finito, fertig, finalizada!
  • Assign progress status tags to your Heidi Sessions. Easily track appointments and documentation progress on your busiest clinic days and collaborate with your team more efficiently.
  • iOS App improvements include strengthened app reliability with improved recovery options and audio handling for a smoother user experience.
  • Live transcript - Live Transcription split screen view in your sessions now defaults OFF for all users. To enable live transcription view, head to settings > defaults > toggle ON.
  • Improvements to Heidi’s audio performance have been introduced. For a higher sound quality Echo Suppression toggle is defaulted ON in your settings. If you use Heidi on the web with a Telehealth app in the same browser, ensure Echo Suppression toggle is OFF.
