How It Works
Automatically adapts: When you edit notes, Heidi captures your style and writing preferences in the background
Pattern recognition: After 5-10 sessions, Heidi begins applying your preferred terminology and formatting automatically
Seamless application: Your personalised preferences are applied to new notes without any additional effort from you
Continuous Improvement: The more you use Heidi, the better it becomes at matching your documentation style
✅ Your privacy is protected Personalisation only tracks your editing changes and style preferences - never patient data or identifiable information. This feature operates within Heidi's existing data privacy framework, ensuring all patient health information (PHI) is excluded from the process. Only your personal documentation preferences are captured and stored securely.
Viewing your Personalisations
Access the "Personalisations" panel in your document editor at the bottom of your session notes screen - here you can manage each of your Personalisation edits and overall settings.
Managing your Personalisations
Review all captured preferences and their sources from your edited notes:
Remove any Personalisation preferences you no longer want applied by clicking 'mark as incorrect':
View your rejected edits in. the 'Rejected' tab, with the option to restore the Personalisation preference:
Turning Personalisation On/Off
In the Personalisation pop-up screen at the bottom you’ll see "Apply personalisations on current note”, toggle ON or OFF as desired
Changes take effect immediately - all future notes and documents generated in your sessions will adhere to your Personalisation preferences
Resetting your preferences
If you want to start fresh, you can delete all Personalisation preferences from the Insights panel or contact support for assistance.

Always review generated notes before finalising
Report any issues through our support channels
Provide feedback to help us improve the feature
Monitor note quality to ensure it meets your standards
Disabling Beta features
If you prefer not to use beta features like Heidi Personalisations:
Go to your account settings > Heidi Labs
Toggle off "Opt-in to selective Beta features" - this will be instant
This will disable your access to early release features, including Heidi Personalisations
