  Heidi Scribe operates reliably under the following network conditions without loss of communication or data due to built-in retries, idempotency, and resumable uploads:
  • Latency (RTT): interactive actions ≤ 300 ms sustained; brief peaks ≤ 800 ms for ≤ 60 s.
    Background transfers ≤ 600 ms sustained; brief peaks ≤ 1200 ms for ≤ 120 s.
  • Packet loss: interactive ≤ 1% sustained; ≤ 3% bursts for ≤ 30 s. Background ≤ 2% sustained; ≤ 5% bursts for ≤ 60 s.
  • Jitter: interactive ≤ 50 ms p95.
  • Bandwidth:
    • Minimum: Stable internet connection with minimum bandwidth of 10 Mbps
    • Recommended: Stable internet connection with minimum bandwidth of 20 Mbps
• Security Software: Up-to-date antivirus and anti-malware software.
• Web Browser: Latest versions of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or any Chromium-based browser are recommended.

• Using minimum specification: When using minimum specification, user should manage their usage carefully, otherwise the experience will be less desirable. For example, users with only 20GB of free storage should carefully manage their storage or backup capability from Heidi Scribe wouldn’t be active.
• Support: Offer a troubleshooting guide for users with older systems to help them improve performance (e.g., closing background applications, ensuring system updates).
• Communication: Clearly communicate the benefits of updating hardware and software to users and clinics, emphasising long-term gains in performance and security.
