At the core of Heidi is its people. We’re a diverse mix of inventors, builders, scientists, nurses, doctors, mathematicians, designers, and high-agency executors, all united by a shared mission: halving the time it takes to deliver world class care.

We achieve in 6 months what it takes our competitors 4 years to do. In just 12 months, more than 1.5 million consults were supported by Heidi, and we’re now powering more than 1 million consults every week.

We’re ready to supercharge our ambitious global growth, and we need great people like you to get there. Ready for the challenge?

Why work with us

We move fast—but not for the sake of it. We do it because speed compounds. At Heidi, you’ll be part of a team that ships small, iterates constantly, and doesn’t wait for perfect when progress is more powerful.

We don’t just optimise what already exists—we invent without fear, knowing that failure is part of the cost of building something truly original. We're not chasing short-term wins. We're in it to solve hard problems that matter over the long run and we know that means making trade-offs today to win tomorrow.

If you want to do your life’s best work, at the edge of healthcare, tech, and invention—this is the place to do it.

Our culture & values

Think long term

We sacrifice short term sugar highs so we win over a long horizon.

Invent without fear

We aren’t derivative and are willing to risk many failures in pursuit of true invention.

Act fast

In uncertainty resist the urge to paralyse ourselves in strategic planning mode, we default to acting even if things come off a bit ill-thought out in the moment.

Ship small

We ship units of atomic progress as quick as we can, choosing speed over quality as we believe turns at the game is more important than making the right move.

Started in 2019

Tinkering with AI through Oscer after an early bet on it changing medicine.

$5M raised

The crew grew to include the Blackbird, Archangel Ventures, January Capital, and Possible Ventures families, who backed our early instincts.

Research & Safety

20+ clinicians stress-testing and training Heidi's AI, Trojan-Horsed under the auspices of an AI-powered telehealth platform.

Began building AI tools

This was a time when our counterparts were pre-occupied with clinical-decision support. Our insight: clinicians actually quite like doing clinical work; we ought to eradicate admin instead.

Real institutional interest

We felt the sentiment of AI, previously a scary bogeyman to the clinical world, take on a different shine in 2023. Suddenly, we saw inbound interest from hospital networks, large insurance providers, and esteemed individual clinicians.

$10M Series A

In an ultra-tough funding climate, our friends at Blackbird (and some brand new friends) doubled down on the mission in a $10 million AUD Series A raise.

Heidi goes gangbusters!

On launching Heidi (as you know it today), with an emphasis on making core features free and onboarding self-serve, we scratched a way bigger itch than we realised was there. Today Heidi is in 50+ countries; a growing number.

Career development & growth

We back our Heidis to grow - and we’ve got the stories to prove it. From promotions to horizontal moves, we love to facilitate opportunities that maintain an environment of continuous learning and to help people unlock their superpowers!
