Heidi has saved my practice so much time in terms of me no longer needing to dictate and the staff not needing to type, which has further saved them from carpal tunnel syndrome! It is easy to use and helpful in generating referral or feedback letters and reports, which we then just need to edit. It really has been a huge help.

Heidi has had a genuinely transformative impact on my practice. Heidi now handles the note-taking that previously required dedicated admin support. My clinical notes are more thorough than before, while the time I spend on them has dropped considerably. The multilingual capability is a standout feature for me — it automatically picks up English, Afrikaans, and Sotho in the same consultation without any manual switching. I've set up templates for video consultations and theatre reports that require minimal editing afterwards, and my workflow now allows me to dictate first and add patient names later — which suits my bariatric surgery focus where processes are standardised. All my sessions going back to December last year are still retained, which I find really valuable.

I am not surprised that I am a big Heidi user - it has made such a difference in my life, and for the better. I don't know what I would do without Heidi! It's a very real asset. Thank you.

I've found Heidi very useful overall, particularly because it allows me to remain present with clients during sessions without needing to take notes at the time or spend additional energy reconstructing sessions afterwards. For me, that post-session processing can sometimes feel as energetically demanding as the session itself, so having that aspect supported has been genuinely valuable and much appreciated.

As a Sports and Exercise Medicine specialist, Heidi saves me on average 2 hours a day on writing letters to either other specialists or back to referring clinicians. This allows me to get some time back to exercise, so I can practice what I preach 😊.

As a solo GP with a practice focused on women's health and wellness, my consultations are significantly longer and more complex than a standard appointment. Heidi has become an integral part of how I work, capturing the detail and nuance of each session accurately and efficiently, so I am not left spending hours after clinic trying to consolidate my notes.
Dr Mandy Liao
Rheumatology and internal medicine involve complex cases and a large volume of information including detailed histories, examinations, and reporting special investigations. The documentation burden is significant, and we also rely on scoring systems and risk assessments to guide management across both inpatient and outpatient settings. Heidi handles these consultations exceptionally well. It has been a genuine game changer for me - dramatically reducing the time I spend on admin and freeing me up to focus on the patient and the complexity of the case, with confidence I won't miss the small details. What's most impressive is that Heidi keeps improving. New, practical features are released frequently, and they're features I actually rely on day to day. Alongside the ability to set up my own templates, one of my favourite utilities is being able to instruct Heidi on what to do with specific information. For example, it can now calculate disease activity scores automatically based on the data provided. I highly recommend Heidi to any clinician who wants to reduce their admin burden without compromising on detail or quality.
Dr Richard Carter
I've been using Heidi extensively, and it has genuinely changed the way I work. It picks up my Afrikaans like lightning, and unlike Dragon, it needs absolutely no training. You just start speaking, and it follows effortlessly. The structured templates remove an enormous amount of cognitive pressure and frees up hours that I used to lose to note-keeping. What's surprised me most is how Heidi now functions less like a dictation tool and more like an AI partner in my workflow; supporting structure, clarity, and thinking space. No more long nights spent catching up on documentation. Thank you Heidi!
Dr Erna Pretorius
Using Heidi has helped lift some of the tremendous administrative burden of running a busy practice, and allowed me to spend more time engaging in conversation with my patients, listening to their experiences, and applying my clinical skill to help make useful diagnostic and management decisions, without having to spend so much bandwidth on note taking. It's helped me interact in a way that I feel is more human (and humane) and less algorithmic, and I've seen the difference in the way my patients respond to this individualised care. I'd hate to have to go back to doing it all the old-fashioned way!
Dr Anastacia Tomson
In my urology practice, Heidi has been a standout AI documentation tool; delivering a step-change in workflow efficiency while still aligning with the compliance and privacy standards we as clinicians must meet. On a day-to-day basis, Heidi has significantly reduced my documentation time and removed a major bottleneck in a busy clinic. It saves me around two hours per day, improves patient engagement, and means my notes are completed by the end of the clinic day. That combination of speed and completeness is exactly what a modern urology practice needs. What makes Heidi particularly powerful in urology is how it helps us standardise documentation through templates. My team and I can build and share structured templates for common workflows like operation notes, oncology forms, referral letters, and even convert existing PDFs into fillable templates inside Heidi. The multilingual capability is also a perfect fit in my practice, especially for my German-, Afrikaans-, and English-speaking patients. I would recommend Heidi to all of my urology colleagues, and to any clinician who wants to spend more time focusing on patients rather than admin.
