How does Heidi Remote protect my data?

Heidi Remote is designed with privacy at its core. It only records when actively initiated by the User, and a visible LED indicates when recording is in progress, ensuring transparency for all parties. All audio is encrypted at rest on Heidi Remote and is automatically deleted once synchronised to the Heidi platform. Heidi Remote connects only to the User's paired device via an encrypted wireless connection. Users are responsible for obtaining all required recording consents under applicable law in their jurisdiction.

Heidi Remote pairs with the Heidi mobile app iOS only. Syncing happens automatically once connected. Support for Android and Heidi desktop is coming soon.

What happens if my Heidi Remote is lost or stolen?

Your recordings are encrypted at rest and in transit. If your device is lost or stolen, recordings cannot be accessed by someone else. Contact Support via online chat or email support@heidihealth.com for help.

Your recordings are safe. Sessions remain saved on the device and will sync once you recharge and reconnect.

No problem — we’ve got you covered! Heidi Remote is designed to perform in high-mobility roles and poor connectivity environments. If you go out of range or lose internet connection, Heidi Remote switches to offline mode and keeps recording. When you reconnect, it syncs automatically.

Can multiple people share one Heidi Remote?

Heidi Remote is designed for one user at a time. To share it, the device must be fully unpaired from the current account and then re-paired to a new one. Though you must be aware that unpairing permanently deletes any recordings stored on the device that have not synced yet.
