Heidi has changed what happens inside the visit. Today it changes what happens around it, and you decide what goes out.
Most clinicians enter medicine to solve problems and change lives. Instead, the daily reality is filling out forms, writing up notes, chasing referrals, and copying details across disconnected systems. The first wave of clinical AI took the note off that list. But an AI that summarizes a visit without doing the follow-up work is like an assistant who takes flawless notes, drops a stack of paperwork on your desk and walks out.
True liberation requires software that doesn't just point at the work, but actually does it.
This is Heidi II. Ask Heidi to pre-chart tomorrow's ward round and it reads the charts overnight, so you walk in already knowing what changed. Ask it to close out today's visits and it chases the outstanding pathology, fills the referral form from the letter that came with it and drafts the handover letter to the nurse. You review, Heidi does the rest.
It’s the agentic layer built for how clinical work runs, carrying the work across your calendar, inbox, and portal. It’s the transition from software that generates text to software that reasons, plans, and operates across systems that were never built to connect. Here are the four biggest changes.
Your clinical day no longer lives scattered across multiple screens. The new Home brings your scheduled patients, open tasks, and clinical prep into one view.
Instead of an empty text box waiting for a prompt, Heidi II opens with the context you need for the day ahead, surfacing the work you are ready to hand over.
“Heidi streamlines my day and reduces prep time. The notes are prepared and the relevant information is already there, so the day runs smoother and charting takes less time.”
Yekutiel Sandman, MD, Urology Specialty Care of Miami
Agents take the task through to the end
Heidi’s Agents can carry out your clinical and administrative tasks before, during, and after the visit, from pre-charting tomorrow's rounds to chasing pathology results and completing referral forms. Around ten million tasks surface in Heidi every week. Until today, Heidi could only show you which ones needed doing. Now it handles them.
You ask in plain language, and Heidi works through the task to the very end across your integrated systems or legacy portals, bringing back what requires your clinical decision.
"Heidi does the prep I used to squeeze in between patients. It loads my schedule, finds the pathology results in the chart, and writes a pre-visit note I can read in thirty seconds. Then it critiques my documentation, my coding and even my bedside manner, which is something nobody has done for me since residency."
Raymond Brown, MD, Capital ENT & Sinus Center
Save a task and it becomes a Routine. It runs the same way every time, on a schedule you set, for you or for your whole practice. Nothing is skipped silently, and anything Heidi couldn't finish comes back named with a reason.
No two clinicians get the same Heidi
Memory personalizes your AI by automatically learning the unwritten rules, clinical standards, and formatting preferences unique to how you practice medicine.
A general, off-the-shelf AI model hands everyone the average, but the way you work never fit in a drop-down field. Memory learns from what you tell Heidi directly and from every correction you make, so you only have to show it once.
"Heidi has helped me prepare for my day, run automatic audits, and sharpen my clinical and administrative processes."
Kelsey Lamb, MSN, ARNP, PMHNP-BC, Prism Psychiatric Group
Heidi reads the whole paper
Heidi II brings peer-reviewed research from the world’s most trusted medical journals directly into your workflow, letting you instantly cross-reference patient data against the research.
An abstract is a compression of a paper, and what gets cut is often the exact detail that would have changed your clinical decision. Now, you can ask a question from inside a session, and Heidi answers using the full text of articles from the New England Journal of Medicine, Wiley, Cochrane and more, alongside your patient's history. Answers come with citations that journal subscribers can follow to access the full article.
You stay in control
Letting an agent act on patient care should be harder than letting it draft a note. Medicine already builds friction in where the stakes are high, and we built Heidi the same way.
Heidi starts in Manual mode, so you can watch it work and approve as it goes. By default, anything that touches a chart, reaches a patient, or leaves the system waits for your review, and you can stop a run at any point. Once you trust how Heidi handles a task, you can switch to Auto mode and let it run.
Some actions stay off limits in every mode. Heidi will not prescribe, delete a record, or submit a claim. Heidi II ships under the same independently audited certifications Heidi already holds. Read why friction is essential for agents in healthcare.
Your next task, handled
Start with the handover letter, the referral form filled from the letter that came with it, tomorrow's ward round pre-charted before you walk in. Or turn on a ready-made Routine, built by clinicians who already run it every day.
"As a clinician, business owner and mum of three, juggling it all can be a real balancing act. Heidi has grown with me and become my one-stop shop, supporting everything from my clinical notes and patient resources to keeping track of my CPD and staying up to date with research. By lightening the mental load, it's given me more capacity to connect with my patients, grow my businesses and be there for my family."
Sharonne Neumann, Credentialed Eating Disorder Dietitian, Founder of Whole Health Dietitian and Whole Health Kitchen
