Mastering your note

Level up your templates

Enabling your team

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand how to utilise the Library to organise and edit templates
  2. Set favourite and default templates
  3. Set templates as default

‍

1. Set favourite and a default template for easy access

Your favourited templates appear at the top of your Template Library and will be highlighted when you choose a template in a session

A template selection menu with 'Favourites' highlighted by an orange arrow, above a list of 'Note templates'.

Favourite Templates

To favourite a template - Find template > Star template
To unfavourite a template - Find template > More Actions (far right, three dots) > Remove from favourites

A user interface displays a list of items, including "Referral letter" and "Letter to patient," with an open dropdown menu showing options like "Edit," "Duplicate," and "Set as default template."

Default Templates

You can automate note generation by setting a default template. This template will be the first document generated at the end of each consult.

To set a default template:

  1. Template Library > Find template > More Actions (far right, three dots) > Set as default template
  2. In your session > Note > Choose template > Toggle Set as Default > Choose template > message "Your settings have been updated"

2. Find templates by filtering "By Creator"
There are 3 types of template creators:

  • Me - created by yourself
  • Team - shared across your team
  • Heidi - Heidi default templates for speciality

Team templates are only available on Together and Enterprise teams.
