May focused on the moments that happen away from your main screen. Whether you're mid-visit in your EHR, at the front desk on calls, or seeing patients on the go, this month's updates meet you where you are.
A floating Heidi window now follows you across tabs so you can multitask with ease. The mobile apps are now available in 16 additional languages, plus new integrations to streamline work across devices. Read on for the full rundown.
Heidi comes with you while you work

Transcribing a visit but need to stay in your EHR? Change tabs while using Heidi and a floating window follows you across your workflow. Confirm your audio is active, jot notes directly into the session Context, and pause, resume or stop transcription without leaving your EHR. Available on Chrome and Edge. Learn more.
Additional language for Heidi mobile

Heidi's iOS and Android apps are now available in 16 languages, including French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Catalan, Swedish and more. Comms: Caller Briefing

Before you pick up, you already know who's calling and why. Heidi Comms gives admin users on the front desk a quick briefing: the patient's name, reason for calling, and what's been covered in previous interactions. Answer with confidence, stay in the loop from the first word, and save patients needing to repeat themselves. Available to all Heidi Comms customers. Contact the Comms team to enable.
New integrations on mobile app

View upcoming appointments and push notes directly to your EHR, no need to switch to web after transcribing on your phone. Cliniko and Nookal available now. Watch this space for more integrations coming soon to mobile. Available on iOS and Android.
Quality of life improvements
- Template Manager role for teams: Team admins can now assign a Template Manager role to specific members, giving them permission to create and manage shared templates without needing full admin access. Org-wide controls are being explored for a future release.
- Log out everywhere: one tap to sign out of all your devices at once. Useful if you work across shared workstations or simply want to quickly secure your account. Available on web and Desktop now, with iOS and Android coming soon.
- Session list search and filters: The session list now has a search bar, sortable columns and filters, with session name shown by default. Find any session in seconds.
- Evidence search during transcription: The Evidence search bar is now visible in the empty note area while you're recording, so you can look something up without leaving your session.
- Template previews show formatting: Template previews now render markdown formatting instead of raw text, so what you see matches what gets generated. Ask Heidi can also edit individual template sections directly.
- Request an integration: The integrations marketplace now shows a "Request integration" option when your search returns no results.
Bug fixes
- Unnamed sessions are no longer excluded from the session list when sorting by name.
- Template category filters in search now resolve correctly.
Desktop
Feature updates:
- Session list: Sort, filter, search, multi-select rows, session name column, appointment tab, and a responsive layout that adapts to any screen.
- Settings modal: Settings now open as a focused inline modal with global search and deep links to specific sections, replacing the separate settings page.
- Clinical Tasks: Refreshed with a flat list layout, an updated detail panel, and a toolbar styled to match the session list.
- Template picker: Authors are deduplicated and grouped more cleanly for easier browsing in larger template libraries.
- Session list on Desktop now refreshes automatically after sessions are finished or updated on mobile.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where users couldn't return to the session list from Settings or Evidence on Windows and Mac.
- Fixed dictation pasting clipboard contents after dictation.
- Fixed multi-file drag-and-drop uploading only the first file.
- Fixed .doc files silently failing on upload instead of showing a clear error.
Mobile: iOS and Android
- Recording and transcription are now faster and more reliable, with automatic recovery for sessions that get stuck and fixes for note generation errors.
- Evidence now has search, library and export shortcuts built in, with tap-to-preview so you can check a source before you open it.
Remote
- Session files now transfer from Remote to your phone in about half the time, so your recordings are ready sooner.
- Bluetooth transfers are more reliable, with fixes for timeout-related failures, particularly on longer recordings.
