Twelve healthcare leaders will help guide Heidi in advancing its core mission of doubling healthcare capacity by eliminating administrative burden
New York, NY – July 29, 2026 – Heidi, the AI Care Partner used in around 2.7 million patient interactions globally each week, today announced the formation of its inaugural United States Customer Advisory Board, a group of 12 physicians and clinical leaders who will guide how Heidi's technology is built and deployed as the platform expands across U.S. health systems.
AI adoption is accelerating across U.S. healthcare, but so are expectations for clinician involvement. Physician use of AI in clinical practice more than doubled between 2023 and 2026, according to the American Medical Association, and 85% of physicians say they want to be consulted or responsible for how AI is adopted in their practice. Heidi's Customer Advisory Board reflects that shift, giving practicing providers a formal, hands-on role in shaping the product’s direction.
The board spans primary care, behavioral health, gastroenterology, orthopedics, urology and podiatry, with members practicing across large health systems, rural clinics and independent practices. That range of frontline clinical experience feeds directly into Heidi's product development as the company expands its presence in the U.S. and broadens its platform beyond ambient documentation.
Members will review upcoming features, ensure Heidi's products reflect how care is practiced, and help shape the company’s product roadmap. Their expertise will guide products including Heidi Scribe, which reduced after-hours documentation for 74% of clinicians during a rollout at Beth Israel Lahey Health, and Heidi Evidence, which provides clinicians with transparent, citation-backed clinical guidance at the point of care.
