Managed Desktop Packages

For organisations that deploy Heidi Desktop centrally (Intune, Jamf, MECM), we publish a stable monthly release with full release notes and an archive of previous versions. Pin the version you've validated, roll it out on your own schedule, and upgrade when you're ready.

Each release is available and supported for three months. After that it's removed from this page and no longer receives fixes, so we recommend updating at least quarterly.

New features

• Push to EHR now appears only when you open Heidi from your EHR, so your note goes to the right patient.
• The EHR list now shows only the systems available in your country.
• Each patient now shows how many sessions they have. If you can’t delete a patient, Heidi tells you why.
• Letters now use your team’s letterhead by default.
• Link Remote to your account before pairing. If a session gets interrupted, Remote picks up where it left off.
• Hover over the session list to see layout options.
• The Export menu now looks and works the same wherever you export.
• Upload audio in a new window, and send feedback from Translator.

Fixes

• Copy link in the Share window now copies the web link to your session.
• Opening See history from the feedback widget now brings Heidi to the front.
• Remote is back in the session sidebar in the new layout.
• The last few seconds of your visit now make it into your note.
• Long sessions now finish uploading instead of failing partway.
• If Heidi can’t regenerate a note, your previous note stays on screen.
• Heidi now says your transcript is safe only once it has been secured.
• The “/” shortcuts menu stays open while you pick an option.
• Shared templates now import every time.
• If you push a note with no linked section, Heidi tells you nothing was sent and asks you to link one.
• Patient search in Hero Quick Consult now loads patients.
• If you already have an account, invite links now take you to the join form
• Expanding a SharePoint folder no longer closes the setup window.
• Upgrade windows now show the right number of trial days in every language.
• If you aren’t an admin, Heidi now asks you to contact your admin to upgrade.
• Billing dates now follow your local date format.
• When you launch Heidi from Cerner, your first session now goes to the right transcription service.
• Heidi no longer crashes when you stop system audio capture on macOS.
• Dictate now types into browser-based fields on Windows, including Practice Perfect.
• If you unplug your Dictate mic, Heidi switches to your system default.
• Removing Remote now fully unlinks it from your account.
• Remote sessions now appear over Bluetooth while they’re still on the device.
• Settings now shows the correct sign-in service status.
• Ask Heidi now opens from the floating composer during a session.
• A regenerating note stays visible until the new version is ready.
• Opening the date picker no longer changes your session’s start time.
• The patient drawer now shows every linked session.
