Flexible Cystoscopy (male) Urologist 1 November 2024 Indication: Haematuria and recurrent urinary tract infections. Consent: The patient was informed about the risks of infection, pain or discomfort, and haematuria. Findings: External genitalia: Normal appearance. Urethra: No strictures or abnormalities noted. Prostate: Enlarged, with no obvious signs of malignancy. Bladder mucosa: Mild inflammation noted in the bladder base. Ureteric orifices: Bilateral ureteric orifices were visualised and appeared normal. Plan: Patient to commence a course of antibiotics for the urinary tract infection. Further investigation with a CT urogram is planned to rule out any underlying pathology. Follow-up appointment scheduled in 6 weeks.
