About T2med integration with Heidi

Overview

Heidi's structured integration with T2med writes clinical notes directly into the patient's electronic record as properly filed journal entries - not as a single block of text. Instead of transferring one undifferentiated note, Heidi maps each part of the consultation to the matching T2med journal entry type, so the record reads exactly as if it had been typed in by hand. Diagnoses flow through as coded ICD-10-GM entries. The integration runs on the Heidi desktop app and connects to the practice's local T2med server.

How does it work?

Heidi listens to the consultation and generates a structured note, then files each section of that note into T2med as its own journal entry over the practice's local FHIR interface. Setup is a single click, and the note is written to the record the clinician is already looking at.

Section-by-section filing: Heidi maps note headings to the four T2med journal entry types - Anamnese, Befund, Therapie and Freitext - and files each as a separate entry, rather than dumping the whole note into free text.

Coded diagnoses: ICD-10-GM codes captured during the consultation are written as structured diagnosis entries in the patient record, ready for billing and reporting.

Clinician stays in control: Only diagnoses the clinician has actively confirmed are filed. Anything still pending or rejected never reaches the record. Headings the clinician chooses not to map are not written at all.

One-click setup: Connecting Heidi to T2med takes a single click - no forms, no configuration, no codes to copy.

Launches in context: Opening Heidi from a patient in T2med carries that patient's context across, so the note lands against the right record.

Data stays on the practice network: The note is written to the practice's own local T2med server by the desktop app on the clinician's machine.

Edits flow through: Change a note after it's been filed and Heidi queues the update automatically, so T2med never holds a stale version.
