Download Package

V2.15.0 (31 Aug – 1 Oct)

For organisations that deploy Heidi Desktop centrally (Intune, Jamf, MECM), we publish a stable monthly release with full release notes and an archive of previous versions. Pin the version you've validated, roll it out on your own schedule, and upgrade when you're ready.

Each release is available and supported for three months. After that it's removed from this page and no longer receives fixes, so we recommend updating at least quarterly.

Feature updates

  • My Templates: rename templates from the table and toggle queue status inline.
  • Smoother setup for marketplace integrations, with a new sign-in flow for marketplace apps.
  • The team join tutorial now matches your language and region during onboarding.
  • Softer sidebar corners and smoother tables.
  • Chinese, Japanese and Korean names appear surname first in onboarding, signup, the create patient drawer and the patient profile.
  • A badge now shows when a note has been pushed to your EHR.
  • The Upcoming section of the session list starts collapsed, and task assignee pickers show an avatar with initials for each team member.
  • Search fields look and work the same across Patient Profile, Routines, blocked numbers, Scribe, coding and the command palette.
  • Evidence: link patients and sessions mid-chat, choose library modes for each collection, and manage source controls in one place across settings and the in-session picker.
  • Session list dates and times follow your locale, your language is kept through the onboarding sign-in, and community gallery filters default to your country and specialty.

Fixes

  • Dictating into other Windows apps adds full stops at the end of sentences, and you can reach browser-based fields inside a Windows desktop EHR. Brief upload hiccups during dictation no longer show as hard errors.
  • The Ask Heidi box keeps focus when you open the shortcuts menu, and pressing Enter to confirm text from an input method no longer sends your message.
  • Exports use the right font sizes, the "Show in text" highlight toggle works again, and the display language stays in step with translations during surveys.
  • Evidence "Show in text" takes you back to the citation after you page away. Collection members no longer go missing when an old filter is still applied, and the slide preview in your session still works when the Slide Builder panel is closed.
  • Heidi flags it if your microphone is unplugged mid-recording on a Mac default device.
  • Uploaded documents stay visible in the processing view after you leave a collection and return.
  • Live recordings stay marked as recording after a bulk cancel, and recover if you stop before any audio is captured.
  • A failed upload no longer deletes your audio and shows a clear error instead.
  • Recording continues if audio saving slows down, and speaker audio no longer interrupts capture.
  • New sessions default to the current user for admins instead of an unrelated owner.
  • The slash-command popup no longer carries over between editors, and dictation and the Safari cursor work as expected.
  • Right-click on a collapsed tab row opens its menu.
  • Non-admin team members no longer see actions they cannot use, and team documents cannot be added to personal collections.
