Septoplasty:
- A hemitransfixion incision was made on the right side of the septum.
- Significant deviation of the septum was noted, primarily affecting the left nasal passage, with a C-shaped curvature.
- Bilateral mucoperichondrial flaps were raised, providing excellent exposure of the cartilaginous and bony septum.
- The inferior rim was excised, approximately 1.5 cm in length, to correct the deviation.
- A prominent inferior spur was identified on the left side, significantly obstructing the nasal cavity.
- The caudal septum was carefully assessed, and its relationship to the anterior nasal spine was noted to be slightly deviated.
- The septal turbinate was excised due to its hypertrophy and contribution to nasal obstruction.
